OpEdNews Rove Indictment Update from Jason Leopold

Update on Rove Indictment

Want to know what's up with Jason Leopold's story on Rove's

Indictment? Read my article below.

Urgent

Please help me out. Tomorrow is the primary election for Pennsylvania.

If you don't want to see another Joe Lieberman, read my article,

Urgent, below. And send a few emails make some calls to democrats you

know in PA. Forward my article to them.

Beyond Urgent

I'm going to be away for a week, visiting in-laws in Canada. I won't

be on-line to nag you about helping to fund OpEdNews. I won't be

sending emails reminding you that we only survive with your help. But

we really do need your help. Today, we'll see over 25,000 visitors,

maybe 30,000.

Today I had to tap my retirement savings, and they are very skimpy to

begin wit! h, to cover an overdrawn account. This is not the life I

want to live. I love doing OpEdNews. I don't mind spending 12-16 hours

a day doing it. But I really need you to dig a little deeper to help

me keep going, doing this. If one out of a thousand people gave ten

dollars, we'd be on track. It would be great if more readers set up

monthly subscription contributions of $5, $10 or $25, like others have

done. it would be nice to see a new record contribution, or more at

the same levels, above $200. But anything helps. I know that many of

our readers are on fixed incomes. I wish mine was. Contribute here If

you are an overseas reader, out of the US, you can also contribute.

Your exchange rate on the dollar is probably better than ever, thanks

to our president.

Best, and see you in a week, though I may have a chance to blog

briefly in the next day or two, while I'm travelling. Then we'll be

camping out, catching our own ! lunch (sorry vegans) out of reach of

any internet, even out! of reac h of cell phone range.

We Democrats

For far too long in the face of fear, we have lived by a policy of

appeasement. As the reactionary right has ascended to dominance, we

Democrats have softened our beliefs to fall in line with Republican

values. In the 2006 Pennsylvania Democratic primary election, voters

must rebuff this failed tactic. The only real Democrat in

Pennsylvania's US Senate race is Chuck Pennacchio.

Frank Rich: Will The Real Traitors Please Stand Up?

What really angers the White House and its defenders about both the

Post and Times scoops are not the legal questions the stories raise

about unregulated gulags and unconstitutional domestic snooping, but

the unmasking of yet more administration failures in a war effort
