Guest guest
BlankIn 2004, I contracted the Epstein-Barr Virus. I developed lower torso pain that, for over a year, was contributed to other things. It was finally diagnosed as PHN. Neurtontin and Nerve Blocks did nothing. It was identified when a numbing agent was injected into the muscles attached to the lumbar nerves. I subsequently read a paper from Germany that, if there is any deformity in the spine, EBV will attach to those nerves. I have age related compression in the lumbar. I did find a cure - 1) An anti-inflammatory diet (no sugar or foods to which I discovered I am allergic), 2) Anti-inflammatory supplements, 3) Exercise. For the supplements, I take 4000mgs Omega 3 and 2 Zyflamend in the morning and 4000 mgs Evening Primrose in the evening. Recently, I mistook CLA for GLA (I wanted to try another anti-inflammatory supplement...but I am already getting this in the EP oil). CLA/Tonalin was a miracle drug. It works quickly. I find that I am even able to eat some of the " bad " foods when taking CLA. However, Tonalin has no record of being an anti-inflammatory supplement. Does anyone know how CLA works for neuralgia?
