Guest guest
Fri, 16 Jun 2006 04:12:58 GMT PAID TO POISON ...... DOCTORS ON THE TAKE S PAID TO POISON ... .... DOCTORS ON THE TAKE ... The acclaimed David Icke Newsletter Goes Out On Sunday 'Prescriber reports are issued every week by the drug companies for internal use. These reports are not to help patient health, but to give the Big Phama reps the information they need to see how successful they've been in influencing a doctor's prescribing policy. The reps also use personality profiling of the doctors to help with the best way to approach them. Are they people who respond to 'scientific' information or do they like to be flattered? In an article called 'Spin Doctored', Shannon Brownlee and Jeanne Lenzer write: " If Doctor A increased her prescriptions after being treated to a facial and full-body massage, more expense-paid spa excursions are in order for her. If Doctor B didn't respond to a courtesy 5-course meal, then maybe it's time to try football tickets, or up the free drug samples, or plug clinical research that touts the proffered drug's benefits. " ' '... Big Pharma has around 1,300 lobbyists in Washington - that's more than two for every member of Congress. " They are powerful " , said Senator Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee. " You can hardly swing a cat by the tail in that town without hitting a pharmaceutical lobbyist. " Is it any surprise then that legislation favourable to the drug industry, including immunity from prosecution, is constantly passed by the poodles on the hill? It is the same elsewhere, too, in this global gluttony of bribery and corruption. In Britain, for example, doctors are given bonuses for meeting government 'vaccination targets' - in other words financial incentives to increase the uptake of the horrific vaccine potions produced by the drug corporations.' Guest guest
So I just did a wikipedia search for the " acclaimed " David Icke! I suck at HTML but the website can be found athttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Icke Not that I wish to immediately discredit every claim that this guy makes but in all fairness, a person who has written a book asserting that " the secret world government consists of a race of reptilian humanoids known as the Babylonian Brotherhood, and that many prominent figures are, in fact, reptilian, including George W. Bush, Queen Elizabeth II, and Kris Kristofferson " is to maybe be questioned when 'revealing' conspiracy theories within any industry. Having said that, although I would question your source material, I would not be surprised if that type of activity did not go on in medical circles, especially in the USA. At the moment, the EU Directive is in effect and lots of herbal/nutritional supplements have been removed from commercial sale. The arguement is that they may interact with other OTC medications or that current potencies may not be proven to be safe. MY theory (and it's just a theory) is that the pharmaceutical companies have put pressure on EU governments to pull these supplements because if people cannot take these, they must resort to drugs supplied by the same companies. Think about it, it does not pay these companies for people to be well. If people are taking vitamin C, zinc, EFA, antioxidant supplements, the likelihood is that they will be less prone to sickness. If the public do not have access to natural and health-promoting supplements, they will be more likely to get sick and need a drug/medicine to get well. Who does this benefit? The doctors (who charge extortionate fees, in Ireland anyway) and the pharmaceutical companies who make a profit. They get their yachts, their skiing holidays, their big fat pay checks. We, the average jo soaps, are denied the oppurtunity to prevent these illnesses and are denied access to more natural remedies which, by and large, have less side-effects and encourage OUR OWN immune systems to combat illness. Plus, we have to pay outstanding sums of money for the privilege. Does anyone else agree with me on this?
