how do i find out more about body balance....and does this help with BAD lower back pain?

Recently I recommended Body Balance to someone suffering with arthritic pain (it has helped my mom so much that she’s been able to get off of Celebrex and only occasionally takes an Aleve). However, this person was adamant that she could not take BB because of the sulfur in molasses. Is this true? If someone is allergic to sulfur can she not ingest molasses and if so, are there any alternatives to the BB? Thanks so much!

Kelli...

I often use maple syrup instead of molasses, as the sweeeeet does

get to me. Perhaps your friend could try that. I also put tumeric

and cayenne in mine to help with the pain and inflammation of

arthritis in my partner. We have had great results!

Body Balance + is Black Strap Molasses, ACV, and Black Walnut Hull Tincture.

You could add Cayenne to it. But why???

Add your cayenne to your Total Tonic where it belongs. ;-)

On Tuesday I took a trip to a local health food store called Healthy Approach Market and it was kinda cool seeing all the stuff I had heard about in here. I do seem to recall a seeing something with black walnut in a bottle with an eye dropper in it.

I dont know if this is the same thing, if not is there anyone, including you that I could buy it from?

Dear Kelli,

I'm sorry, but I did miss your original post on this = still trying to get caught up after the move. ;-)

Most molasses does have sulfur in it unless you buy the unsulfured kind which can be done. I very strongly doubt she has a true allergy to sulfur, but is simply experiencing a detox when she takes it. The key here is to start her off on a small dosage and work up to the full two tablespoons a day.

There are no adequate alternatives to the Body Balance + It is unique. The Black Walnut Hull in it raises the absorption rate dramatically due to the Iodine content in it so that even a person with literally no metabolism will be able to assimilate it into their system.

Doc,

Thanks so much!!! I had thought

that the ‘allergy’ was probably detox, but I’m always glad to

get your opinion. I have noticed with one of my children that his ‘allergies’

flare up when I’ve been lax in his diet. ‘Yes’ to candy

from grandma one night = allergic to the cat a day later. The great thing

though is that he’s beginning to really see the connection and choose for

himself healthy options more and more. Thanks for all the great

information you freely give here. It’s made a tremendous difference

in our family!!!

Body Balance

Masculine And Feminine Sides Of The Body

If you look in the mirror and view your profile from each side, you may

notice that the two sides of your face are slightly different from one

another.

Additionally, your left hand is similar to but different from your

right hand. In fact, these subtle differences pervade both sides of your

entire body.

Considering these differences in the context of the idea that the right

side of your body is masculine

and the left side feminine may shed some light on how balanced you are

in relation to your masculine and feminine qualities.

Intuition, feelings, openness, and unselfishness govern the feminine

side of our natures.

The masculine side is characterized by logic, facts, systems, and

self-interest.

If you are giving too much to others to the detriment of yourself, your

feminine side may be overactive and your right side may need

strengthening, to speak up on your behalf, protecting and conserving

your energy.

If your life is too rigidly structured, your masculine aspect may be

overactive; developing your feminine aspect will bring a more open-ended

and creative approach.

Maintaining harmony between the left side and the right side, the

feminine and masculine, is a key to wholeness.

We can foster awareness of our own relative state of balance by tuning

in to our bodies.

When you close your eyes and scan your body, what do you see?

You may find that most of your ailments, from acne to muscle tension,

occur on the left side of your body. This might indicate that your

feminine aspect is out of balance in some way. Similarly, if you notice

a lot of tension in your right shoulder, perhaps your masculine side is

overtaxed or weakened. Just noticing an imbalance is the beginning of

healing it.

Some imbalances may be long-standing, and it may take time to bring

your system into equilibrium. Remember to be gentle with yourself and

listen to your body. Over time, doing this can guide you to a dynamic

state of inner and outer balance.
