Guest guest
Hi Nadine, One way to work with those sea veggies is to pour hot/near boiling water onto them (I'd use distilled water if its going into a lotion product), and let them sit, covered, and then use the infused water. Or you can use them powdered .. they can also be used in soap making *Smile* Chris (list mom) Bitter Orange Blossom (Neroli) Hydrosol Don't Miss Your Only Chance In 2006 For These LOW Pre-Buy Sale Prices! <http://www.alittleolfactory.com/> http://www.alittleolfactory.com On Behalf Of nadesmuffin Hi everyone - I'm new to this so please forgive any mistakes (first time for me). I need some help with making a concoction using Dulse, Bladderwrack and Sea Kelp to incorporate into a cream. Has anyone any tips (do you stew the mix, just pour boiling water over the dried herbs and let it sit, or what?) Many thanks Nadine
Guest guest
I read a book by a Japanese author about seaweeds. It said wakame (a sea vegetable - seaweed) is very alkalyn. It is the most alkalyn food that can be eaten and therefor excellent for your health. Sea vegetables have many minerals and vitamins that cannot be easily obtained eating land vegetables. They are especially high in iron, calcium and iodine.
