Guest guest
Hi all, I just joined recently. I know Alobar from the coconut loop (howdy!) I was diagnosed with Type II under 3 years ago. To make a long story short since March - I have lost 62 pounds, brought my a1c's from 6.5 to 5.6 (probably lower now) and am doing well. Fasting blood sugars mid 70's to low 90's. I was tested for protein in the urine back in March. Showed a small amount (I was on my cycle at the time and showing signs of infection I was told later). Went to a naturopath, did the 24 hour creatine test,BUN test and 3 weeks later urine test again. All came out normal. This week I noticed tiny bubbles in my urine after peeing. The pop easily, Not an overly large amount and sometimes non existent. The flush right away. I wouldn't have thought anything about it except a page I was reading up on said bubbles in the urine was a sign of kidney problems. Any thoughts? I am taking a kidney blend supplement as of Saturday plus doing a lemon and water fast - flush since thurs. Drinking an herbal tea made from dandelion, uva ursi, juniper berries and horsetail. Any thoughts? I have a hard time believeing I could be regressing when I have improved so well. I have tried to avoid a heavily protein diet (meat) and tried to balance a good low carb diet.
