Guest guest
Help! I read the ear candling article and having used this method before, thought it would hep with some TMJ promblems I've been having. The first ear went fine, but on the second one, about half way down the candle, I felt something warm fall into my ear and smelled my hair singe. I ran to the bathroom to see if I pulled a Michael Jackson. Fortunately no, although I lost a little hair. The problem is, I can hardly hear out of my ear. No pain, just plugged up! Just in case it came from the inside out, I tried a second candle. The ear is still plugged up. I cleaned out both ears (carefully) with a q-tip and didn't get much out. Is it possible for wax to fall into the ear from these candles. They were professionally made and have a small opening at the tip. I don't know what else to try. Advice please! Guest guest
I have done ear candling before. You should put a paper plate around the ear candle to prevent any debris from falling in. Poke a hole in the plate and put the candle around it....I would do a few more to see if can't unlodge the blockage....Do you have any total tonic??? That may help to free up anything?? So sorry that happened,.... cweeks [cweeks] Tuesday, November 02, 2004 3:11 PM herbal remedies Herbal Remedies - Re: Ear Candling Disaster Help! Guest guest
Do you put oil in your ear before or after candling? You should. Oil should help. Doc has a good kind of oil he’s sending me. There are oils that you can buy just for this purpose. Check with health food stores. cweeks [cweeks] Tuesday, November 02, 2004 2:11 PM herbal remedies Herbal Remedies - Re: Ear Candling Disaster Help! Guest guest
It is usually a good idea to have someone do the ear candling for you. I would never attempt to do it on myself. How would you see what you were doing? Also, you will know whether or not it works because you will feel the difference in your ability to hear. I use an aluminum pie plate to act as a shield, with the candle put through a hole I cut in the middle. herbal remedies , Rob Combis <rcombis@e...> wrote: > > I have done ear candling before.
