Guest guest
Deanna...I would think that once a day is not quite enough . Hopefully DOC will jump on and clarify . I am thinking with Rob here , # of meals = # of bowel movements is optimum...Mary O---- Original Message ----- " Deana " <squeekyme <herbal remedies > Tuesday, November 02, 2004 11:12 AM Re: Herbal Remedies - children > > > I may be wrong but one bowel movement a day is very good. and very normal. > > Hugs
Guest guest
That is what I think too. And Believe me He eats 3 meals a day and snacks in between meals, so it seems to me it would be coming out. I do have some of Dr. Christophers Quick colon formula #1, I wonder if I could give Him that? I do have him on the Dr. Christophers VF syrup right now and maybe that is slowing down his bowel movements.. But I'm just not sure what to give a 5 year old, He weights 39.5 lbs. herbal remedies , " Mary Ostrowski " <Odesign1@e...> wrote: > Deanna...I would think that once a day is not quite enough . Guest guest
Yes you can give him the Dr Christopher formula .The dose for an adult is figured at 150 lbs so your boys dose would be just a bit under a third. You can empty the capsule till it is a wee bit under a third full.Have him drink lots of water/fluids as well...Mary O - " Eibhlin " <eibhlinyah <herbal remedies > Tuesday, November 02, 2004 2:03 PM Herbal Remedies - Re: DEANNA and ROB / children > > > > That is what I think too. Guest guest
Wheat bran or oat bran is good for this problem. It can be sprinkled on foods to make it more palatable. Maybe start with 1 tsp per day and work up to 1 tbsp per day if needed. AllisonEibhlin <eibhlinyah wrote: That is what I think too.
