Guest guest
Lisa...When I dry soaked almonds it takes a couple of days. What are you thinking of drying?.If you do not destroy the enzymes by high heat then it is raw.....Mary

Guest guest
Hi Mary, Well, I made the bread and put it in the oven. I'm not sure but thought that the oven seemed a bit too hot, so didn't keep it in there the full time. Even so, the mixture itself tasted absolutely yummy. So I suspect it did actually *cook* it a bit; the outside is quite crusty, while the inside is still a bit mushy. Tastes wonderful though!! My oven is a gas oven, and I took it as far down as I could. Not sure what temperature that would be, as there are just numbers on the switch (1-9). Anyhow, just to let you know what happened with it! love Lisa - Lisa de Haas herbal remedies Thursday, November 04, 2004 8:47 PM Re: Herbal Remedies - LISA /dehydrator alternative That's what I thought: yummy :-)) Will do love Lisa - Mary Ostrowski herbal remedies Thursday, November 04, 2004 6:37 PM Re: Herbal Remedies - LISA /dehydrator alternative Lisa....Oh yummy ! Guest guest
Lisa.....Sounds so good. I have an oven thermometer that I use. These are pretty cheap. It does sound like you cooked it a bit. 100 to 105 degrees is just slightly warmer than the human body....Mary O - Lisa de Haas herbal_remedies Sunday, November 07, 2004 4:00 AM re: Herbal Remedies - LISA /dehydrator alternative Hi Mary, Well, I made the bread and put it in the oven.
