Guest guest
Hello everyone, I've decided to 'unlurk' and say hello! My name is Tracy, and I am a 34 y.o. SAHM to 2 boys and have a dh of 11 1/2 years. Last January I became introduced to natural eating when my son was diagnosed with ADD (he'll be 10 in April) and we (as a family) tried the elimination diet (no wheat, no artificial colors, no preservatives, no refined sugar... seems like there was something else... ah, no bovine dairy). After several months of horribly expensive grocery bills and absolutely no change of behavior in school, with much prayer we took the meds route. He did a complete 180 in his behavior (he's always been an A/B student, so behavior was the only issue we had) with no noticeable side-effects. At any rate, we did not stick to everything we were doing before, but we do eat a bit healthier - but not healthy enough. We have few health issues as a family, but I am very interested in the cleansings. My aforementioned oldest son deals with bowel issues; he was born with Hirschprung's Disease (in a nutshell, the last 8 inches of his colon was like a funnel - it was missing the nerve cells that allow it to expand and let stool pass through). Those 8 inches were removed, but the type of surgery he had (there are 3 different surgical remedies) leaves a part of that aganglionic (unfunctioning) bowel, and so constipation is something we have to be on guard for constantly. After years of being on Senekot liquid, I weaned him off of it and he has been on Metamucil fiber crackers (1 morning, 1 evening) for over a year. Rarely does he have a problem unless he has too much milk (cows'; the closest supplier of goats' milk I could find is an hour away, so between that and the price we discontinued using it for him). So to get to the point (lol), when you talk about all the ingredients you need for the bowel cleansings... what form are they in, and where do you get them? We have a health food store in town (a small town) that opened a few months ago, and everything they carry is in capsule form but she said she can order in just about anything. I did note that she carries the organic apple cider vinegar and unsulphured blackstrap molasses. There is another health food store in another nearby town, but I haven't been over there to look because I don't know what I'm looking for! lol Are there finished products that you can buy that work as well as the recipes here? Any help would be appreciated Thanks! Tracy in Ohio
Guest guest
Hello Tracy, and welcome! I strongly recommend you to read Doc's article: http://health.herbal remediesArticles/ and click on the article: The Myth & The Mystery. This will help guide you in the needed changes for your son's problems. I trust he is now off the meds? If not, he will need to come off them, but I wouldn't do so without qualified guidance. Doc can help you with this! Yes, the Total Body Cleanse is definitely a must if you want to terminatedly handle any body's problems, and they're fun to do! Yes, you can get the products ready made - contact Doc off list and he can help you locate them. I get them ready made also, as I cannot find all the raw ingredients here in the UK, and am too busy (lazy? hehehe) to make them! Sounds like you're on the right track though! Very well done! I know how difficult it can be, especially where it concerns our children. Anyhow, I think this will keep you busy for a week or so. And do ask if you need more guidance to help you in your quest.
