Guest guest
I also tried sprouting my own spelt berries to make bread with... but after a couple days they smelled like they were fermenting! Guess it's an art that takes practice, from what I've gathered? Tracy in Ohio
Guest guest
Speaking of sprouting grains ... what do you all use to grind the grain once they are sprouted and dried? I've retired my microwave and need to get a good dehydrator and now some sort of grain mill? Any brand or supplier recommendations appreciated. I think my kitchen will soon start to look like an old general store. <G> herbal remedies , " Tracy Tucker " <tltucker@k...> wrote: > > I also tried sprouting my own spelt berries to make bread with... but after > a couple days they smelled like they were fermenting! Guest guest
Hi Tracy, From my own attempts, mine smelled when I wasn't watering them enough (3 x per day), so perhaps this was an issue? I think the location for temperature also makes a difference - can't get too warm (or too cold).
