Black Eye Does anyone have a nifty remedy to get rid of a black eye PRONTO ??? YES - I accidently *I swear* popped the hubby in the eye over the weekend. Late Sunday night to be exact. On Monday morning it was just a bump. By Monday night it was sorta blue. By Tuesday it had swelled shut. I had some goldenseal and eyebright in the house so I made a warm tea for him to hold on it - and it definately took the black away. Now it is just purplish...and still a little swollen. He's a phone man...and we found out right before xmas the company he works for is selling off the part of the business he supports. Well - even tho they are selling that particular part of the company off - it is still business as usual. WHICH MEANS...my poor hubby just got off work about 1/2 hour ago (it is nearly 5.30am here now). When he walked in the door his eye looked awful and he informed me he has an interview with the new company at 2pm today. That's in about 8 hours. I fed the man and he's snoozing big zzzz's right now - I don't dare wake him up in the next 2 hours or so. YIKES! I'm totally worried that the black eye may have adverse...uh...well - it will add to the already stressful situation and it certainly will not be a good first impression!! Any ideas?
