6-Day Purna Yoga Teacher Training

The 6-day Purna Yoga Teaching Training is a deep study and practice of the

foundational work of teaching yoga. The training consists of teaching

methodology and practice, meditation, musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology,

and nutrition. You will work in-depth with Aadil learning how yoga is to be

lived, how to energetically hold a class, how to give your students safe

instruction and guidance, how nutrition and philosophy can be incorporated and

much, much more. While the course focuses on how to teach yoga, the work

inspires personal growth and inner wisdom.

 

Instruction in teaching alignment-based asana and pranayama is the foundation of

this Teacher Training course. This week-long training includes learning how to

teach the basics of standing poses, inversions, twists, backbends, front bends,

the Opening Series, Morning Series, Hip Opening Series, Classical Surya

Namaskar, and the basics of pranayama posture and Ujjayi pranayama. This course

also includes training in yoga anatomy, the use of props, adjustments, basic

therapeutic applications, and how asana relates to one's daily life.

 

This training is for you if you want to continue your education and refine

teaching skills and if you intend to teach and want to develop your knowledge

and skills. The course consists of lecture, demonstration, and lots of hands-on

practice. The, Teaching Purna Yoga manual is included.

Prerequisite: A minimum of one year of alignment-based yoga is required; three

are recommended.

Times: Fri 12-5pm, Sat-Tue, 10am-1pm & 2:30-5pm, Wed 10am-1pm
