Guest guest
Hi all, my son is 2 years old now and has had trouble with his teeth since he has had them. The two teeth beside the front teeth completly rotted from the inside out and now 6 months after having those taken care of his molars are getting cavities. We eat a very whole foods diet, have a low sugar diet and brush the kids teeth morning and night with a non-fluride toothpaste. It has xylotol instead. I saw the dentist today and he strongly recomends using fluride toothpaste to remineralize and strengthen his baby teeth. He says that my son has very soft teeth and it is probably due to genetics. My daughter has no teeth problems. I have always been as chemical free as possible and I am concerned about introducing fluride to him, on the other hand, I am wanting to strengthen his teeth and to prevent further issues for him. I also give him vitD3 and probiotic each day. Thank you for any advice or recommendations, Elise.
