Try mixing your shampoo half and hlf with Magnesium gel.  Be sure that your

shampoo does not contain detergents or sulfates.  It has worked wonders for my

hair, slowly turning my hair back to its original color.

Hi Anne-

This is intriguing. I've been using natural henna-indigo to cover my grey but

it's a rather tiresome and messy process. So does the Magnesium gel change the

color of the grey hair that's already there? Or does it change your body

chemistry so you don't grow new grey hair? (and you have to naturally dye what's

there already or wait for it to grow out)

Thanks and be well,

Janet

OK. I know this may sound weird, but when I stopped shampooing my

hair nearly three years ago, my gray hairs stopped and I have had

maybe 5-6 since then. I am 45 years old. No gray, AT ALL. My

husband also stopped washing his hair with shampoo, and, while he is

MUCH more grey (family inheritance, lucky him), grey hairs started

developing brown roots (his hair is brown). Not all, but a large

enough portion that his head started looking less grey and more brown

(he's 46, but his mother started going grey by the time she was 40 and

his dad has almost no hair left!).

All I do for hair washing now (and I have long, thick, wavy hair) is

rinse with water and scrub my scalp with my fingertips 2-3 times a

week (in the shower). Then air-dry and brush 2x/day.

On stop of the savings of not having to buy shampoos and conditioners,

my hair has never been in better condition. I stopped using shampoo

because I was getting sick a) the cost and b) my itchy scalp. No

dandruff, just an itchy scalp.

The first 6 weeks weeks after I stopped using shampoo was difficult,

because my hair got a little bit oily and my scalp extremely itchy.

But if you can get through that while your hair and scalp restore to a

natural balance, then you should really enjoy your hair.

Cheers

I wonder if blonde hair changing from being lighter over the years is the same

deficiency. Interesting gray responds to external rather than internal

magnesium..

Thank you for sending me the info also...

Didn't you say gel the first time? This link is for oil - is there a

preference?

Thanks :)

It is for Magnesium Gel which has more minerals, etc. than the oil.

Or, you could stop washing your hair altogether. 8 ) I stopped using

anything but warm water on my hair 3 years ago, and the gray hairs I

had (not many) are gone. My husband, who was going quite silver, also

stopped washing his hair (about 2 years ago) and his hair started

going back to brown. Pretty telling on the state of what's in

shampoo!!! The first few weeks of going without washing my hair with

shampoo were hard, as the scalp and hair must re-balance and there's a

LOT of oil and itchiness. Then it's gone, and my hair is long and

thick and healthier than it's ever been.

Magnesium is absorbed in both Epson and Dead Sea Salts

Epson salts are common way to add soluble magnesium to garden plant.

Dead sea Salts have more complex set of minerals and unlike sea salt very

little sodium.

It cures every skin condition from dandruff down and used by the lepers of

Jesus day ~Greeks and Romans

Spa on the dead sea are host to world models for the skin conditioning and

prevention of wrinkles.

The mud used as cosmetic worldwide...See CNN video and others on my site

under Salt.

Many essential oils also stimulate and preserve hair follicles and would

slow graying..

Anything that just make hair darker is not going to stop gray as Living

Scalp is area to treat as hair is dead.

To atop graying ( and getting old otherwise) is about preserving and

restoring cellular process to keep youth.

Reversing Age and adding color means a radical repair of those processes

and tissues over a long period.

Changes in lifestyle and Use of God's Creation to feed body is going to give

the most Life you can find and wholeness self.

Using the Salts they act to deeply penetrate skin tissues, detoxify removing

poisons, stimulate circulation, exfoliate dead skin ~ oils pores ~

Deodorizes by killing bacteria below skin and protecting from outside,

Other Essential oils can also be absorbed during bath, and natural skin

(Carrier) oils add as moisturizer and supplier of vitamins in bath or after

Examples: Using Eucalyptus and other similar, in hot bath and keeping head

nearly submerged or breathing while close to surface.. All kinds of

repertory or sinus complaints better cared for that with any medicine and

list goes on.

Several Essential oils are good for stimulating scalp, some for cellular

repair, but use under limits of each as stimulating as some point become

irritating. I use frankincense in hair as my rinse and acts as my stress

relief all day as well feeds and restores skin. Rubbed with oil to feet

gives happy feet and calming all day. Many of these kill athletes foot and

can eliminate most anything sold over the counter.

Read and research and be amazed. We have been programmed for over 100 yrs to

forget nature and buy industrial poisons.

The real benefit is you are mentally and emotionally cleaning and

replenishing along with your body and you feel in whole lifted in mood and

refreshed in mind as aches melt away.

Note:

Minimum times for soaking 20 min ~ cycle your routine to keep most us body

wet or under. I rinse hair brushing under water three times, your scalp wit

be clean and no itch from soaps.

Have fun and let me know if I can assist you.

The herb, Foti ( He shou wu) is known for turning hair back to it's normal

color. Also, zinc and copper rich foods are helpful as deficiencies of these

minerals speed graying.

My favorite chemical free shampoo and conditioner is by Organic Excellence. It's

wonderful!

There was a time when I had access to plenty of aloevera plants and I used the

leaves like soap and shampoo.

I just opened a piece of leaf in half and rubbed it all over.

It's a bit of an old fashioned one but try conditioning it with guiness or stout

which will make it strong and shiny, there are some pretty good dark hennas out

there.

Alternatively if you gotta dye why not go for something wild?? I spent a long

time as a pink and it did do wonders for my mood!
