Guest guest
Try mixing your shampoo half and hlf with Magnesium gel. Be sure that your shampoo does not contain detergents or sulfates. It has worked wonders for my hair, slowly turning my hair back to its original color. Guest guest
Hi Anne- This is intriguing. I've been using natural henna-indigo to cover my grey but it's a rather tiresome and messy process. So does the Magnesium gel change the color of the grey hair that's already there? Or does it change your body chemistry so you don't grow new grey hair? (and you have to naturally dye what's there already or wait for it to grow out) Thanks and be well, Janet Organic Janet Fresh and fun ideas for holistic living! http://www.organicjanet.com , Anne Bird <irishfox99 wrote: > > Try mixing your shampoo half and hlf with Magnesium gel. Be sure that your shampoo does not contain detergents or sulfates. It has worked wonders for my hair, slowly turning my hair back to its original color. > Anne > TX USA > > --- On Mon, 2/1/10, loreto, jr arellano <loretoshow wrote: > > > loreto, jr arellano <loretoshow > GRAY HAIR or WHITE HAIR > > Monday, February 1, 2010, 10:59 PM > > >  > > > > Please any help for my gray hair? ? ? > > its about 10 to 15 percent already. . . > > thanks and more power. . . > > ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _ > Looking for the perfect gift? So does the Magnesium gel change the color of the grey hair that's already there?*** No, it is a gradual process.  Or does it change your body chemistry so you don't grow new grey hair? ***It appears that the reason our hair goes grey or white is from the lack of magnesium.   (and you have to naturally dye what's there already or wait for it to grow out) ***wait for it to grow out as I said a gradual process. I have been doing this for 2 years. My hair is shiney, thick, healthy and going back to its natural color You can find great quality Magnesium Oil at the best prices at Life Enthusiast Co-op http://life-enthusiast.com/usa/index.php?cPath=128 & ref=10602 And you can learn about all the benefits of magnesium, too http://life-enthusiast.com/index/Education/Magnesium?ref=10602 Anne Thanks and be well, Janet Organic Janet Fresh and fun ideas for holistic living! http://www.organicj anet.com , Anne Bird <irishfox99@ ...> wrote: > > Try mixing your shampoo half and hlf with Magnesium gel. Be sure that your shampoo does not contain detergents or sulfates. It has worked wonders for my hair, slowly turning my hair back to its original color. > Anne > TX USA > > --- On Mon, 2/1/10, loreto, jr arellano <loretoshow@ ...> wrote: > > > loreto, jr arellano <loretoshow@ ...> > GRAY HAIR or WHITE HAIR > > Monday, February 1, 2010, 10:59 PM > > >  > > > > Please any help for my gray hair? ? ? > > its about 10 to 15 percent already. . . > > thanks and more power. . . > > ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _ > Looking for the perfect gift? Guest guest
OK. I know this may sound weird, but when I stopped shampooing my hair nearly three years ago, my gray hairs stopped and I have had maybe 5-6 since then. I am 45 years old. No gray, AT ALL. My husband also stopped washing his hair with shampoo, and, while he is MUCH more grey (family inheritance, lucky him), grey hairs started developing brown roots (his hair is brown). Not all, but a large enough portion that his head started looking less grey and more brown (he's 46, but his mother started going grey by the time she was 40 and his dad has almost no hair left!). All I do for hair washing now (and I have long, thick, wavy hair) is rinse with water and scrub my scalp with my fingertips 2-3 times a week (in the shower). Then air-dry and brush 2x/day. On stop of the savings of not having to buy shampoos and conditioners, my hair has never been in better condition. I stopped using shampoo because I was getting sick a) the cost and b) my itchy scalp. No dandruff, just an itchy scalp. The first 6 weeks weeks after I stopped using shampoo was difficult, because my hair got a little bit oily and my scalp extremely itchy. But if you can get through that while your hair and scalp restore to a natural balance, then you should really enjoy your hair. Guest guest
I wonder if blonde hair changing from being lighter over the years is the same deficiency. Interesting gray responds to external rather than internal magnesium.. Thank you for sending me the info also... Didn't you say gel the first time? This link is for oil - is there a preference? Guest guest
Or, you could stop washing your hair altogether. 8 ) I stopped using anything but warm water on my hair 3 years ago, and the gray hairs I had (not many) are gone. My husband, who was going quite silver, also stopped washing his hair (about 2 years ago) and his hair started going back to brown. Pretty telling on the state of what's in shampoo!!! The first few weeks of going without washing my hair with shampoo were hard, as the scalp and hair must re-balance and there's a LOT of oil and itchiness. Then it's gone, and my hair is long and thick and healthier than it's ever been.
