PSA up.

Got a disappointment today. I have been in the habit of happily reporting a

reduction of PSA for many months, but this afternoon I learnt that my PSA has

risen in 2.5 months from 6.3 to 9.8. I am not surprised that it rose a bit, but

I am surprised by the rate. I will account for it by saying that I have been

travelling a lot and had a sressful time and have been careless in following my

diet protocol. I also just recovered from some slight illness (a cold and

bronchitis)which may have influenced things. Anyhow I must now brace up and

fortify my protocol. Once we start on this 'alternative' treatment route it

seems it is dangerous to relax it.

Hi Rupert,I am sorry to hear of the rise in your PSA. However, you have surmised the reason, relaxing the protocol. Also stress doesn't help. I know that one can get very busy with their work schedule and sometimes daily priorities seem to override sticking to the protocol. However, the protocol should be the absolute priority no matter what. Cancer does not care. It has it's own agenda and waits for no one. Cancer does not take a vacation. Two things I would suggest. First of all, continue to follow the protocol in full force and effect. You had wonderful results with it. Secondly, see what you can do to reduce the stress in your life. This also plays a part. You may want to practice meditation and even EFT (the emotional freedom technique). Actually, it is very effective.I would like to point that it is imperative to follow the complete protocol to achieve success. While they were getting good results, those that have opted to "relax the rules" for whatever reason, have had their cancer progress. At this point, I implore you to continue with the entire protocol. Another thing that I strongly urge you to do is remove any undue stress, no matter what it is. If it is causing you anxiety, it is just not worth it. Undue stress affects our bodies and our immune system.Yes, Rupert, it is dangerous to relax the protocol.Just know that we are here to support you, physically and emotionally. My Best,

Rupert,

As observed, you likely provided an answer in your description of slacking off on the protocol and stress.

I don't know how much oleander you are taking, but I will make the observation that the amount can often make all the difference. Besides prior mainstream treatment, a common thread that has surfaced in the small number of people who have not had success is that they are not taking enough oleander (sometimes as little as a teaspoon a day), taking it intermittently, and not doing nearly as many healthy things as they should be. That distresses me to no end! Half measures may buy some time, but they may very well not win the battle that otherwise might be won.

Not pointing fingers at you, as I know that overall you have done well - but I am convinced that there are some people who are not having success simply because they are not doing what it takes to have success. To me, it is not a half-measure thing and one should go all in if they want to win.

Hopefully you will get back on track, perhaps up your dose a bit, and have some more good reports for us soon.

All the best,

A prostate will enlarge if:1) in the presence of elevated estrogen levels, and 2) in the presence of elevated DHT.Too much attention is given to DHT and far too little to elevated estrogen levels. Estrogen suppression is easy. Calcium D glucarate is cheap and readily available. (Beyond a Century is one source, and there are others.)There are now much better herbs than saw palmetto berry extract. Try beta sitosterol. It is much more potent. Also guiggal (guggal lipids, guggal sterones) help the thyroid, and the weak plant sterones will bing to estrogen binding sites, also somewhat effectively blocvking estrogens effects in males.Dr. Goebel--- On Fri, 2/12/10, wrote:TonyI Re: PSA up.oleander soup Date: Friday, February 12, 2010, 11:25 AM
