Guest guest
I think the best source of information for your question would be the makers of Anvirzel. http://www.nerium.com/ From what I understand, a dose of Aniverzel or one of the home made remedy this group is named after, or the two herbal supplements we discuss, contains only about 1/30th to 1/40th of the amounts of cardiac glycosides as does a typical does of digoxin/digitalis. Normally such small amounts are not reasons for concern even up to the larger therapeutic doses of the supplements recommended for late stage and/or aggressive cancers. However, a person who takes digoxin/digitalis and/or blood thinners should proceed cautiously, ideally under the supervision of a medical professional, and perhaps adjust any other medications slightly to compensate for the oleander. Though oleander extracts have a wonderful safety record, it is always best to err on the side of caution. Also, none of us in this group should be considered medical professionals and what we post has to be considered our opinions for informational purposes only. The home-made oleander extract which was coined "oleander soup" and the erbal supplements Sutherlandia OPC and Rose Laurel OPC Plus were all modeled after Anvirzel(which is to say that they used similar procedures for boiling, straining, and condensing that Dr. Ozel used to make the extract that was later patented as Anvirzel - which is patentable primarily due to the freeze drying technique used to preserve it). All the best, oleander soup , "ryanandheatherare" <ryanandheatherare wrote:>> Can you please give some information regarding these 3 combinations? I have a friend who has stage IV colon cancer (had blood clots before diagonsis from the cancer) and is now doing chemo and taking blood thinners. What kind of risk in taking Anvirzel?
