Hormone Test results - a little concerned

Well I got the results of the saliva hormone test that my ND ordered.

My progesterone is 3.21

Testosterone 638.2

DHEA 1200

she said estrogen was normal - the lab still had those nukmbers but

she had talked to them

All these numbers are through the roof. She wants me to go to a

gynecologist and have a check-up and a sonogram to see if it's PCOS.

Although everything I have done in the past 6 months should have

reversed those symptoms not increased them. If it's not that she is

thinking adrenals.

The only thing that worries me is that the few things I can find to

read tells me numbers this high are usually from a hormone secreting

tumor.

Any thoughts? Anyone else experience numbers like this?

Hi Belinda

I found a book titles- What your doctor may not tell you about premenopause.

Written by John R. Lee M.D. It is the greatest book I have ever read!! Everyone

in my family

has had problems which has lead to surgery before 30 years of age.

This doctor does not believe in that!! Even though he is a MD he

believes in the all natural way!! I have been doing what it says and

I believe its working!! Its not just for memopause it talkes about

other problems we women have. My 16 and 20 year olds are on a

supplement program now. Its all spelled out in the book. Worth

reading I believe!!!

They talk about overian tumors, cyst, all kinds of things and just

what to do about them.

I hope you feel better...

Take care Melinda

Hi, Regarding your saliva hormone test, you might want to visit

www.wellnesscenter.net <http://www.wellnesscenter.net/> .

Dr. Theresa Dale offers a saliva hormone test, (her test tests more that the

standard hormones!),but most importantly she offers the remedies to balance

your hormones by using homeopathics. What is great about this as hormone

solution is that homeopathics balance; they do not add hormones to your

body. Est. too high - brings it down; too low -brings it up. The formulas

also address the whole endocrine system, not just the three main hormones.

It is important to treat the whole endocrine system, plus the liver where

these hormones are conjugated. If your liver is not optimally functional,

then it can't do its job properly. Liver cleanses are often recommended for

this reason. I am a Naturopath and have been trained by her and highly

recommend that you visit her website and decide for yourself. She does have

practitioners listed, so that you can locate one near you.

I previously used a compounding pharmacies cream, especially formulated for

me based upon a test and gained 30 lbs. 30% of the women experience this.

I have tried various therapies after having a hysterectomy 15 years ago, and

from experience homeopathics are the way to go. Check it out.
