Guest guest
Actually, I don't think anyone should "feel guilty" over anything. For the most part, we are only ignorant of what is an ideal lifestyle. To not get oneself educated, and to not clear up one's misunderstanding of optimum survival is most definitely ignorant for most, and possibly stupid with some others, but I'd never make another "guilty" for that. Where's the crime and who's to be the judge of that crime??? Nowwwwwwwwww, "Responsibility"!!! That's another kettle of fish. Guest guest
Hi Alon, So coffee is now considered an anti-cancer drink??!! I recently read some data about coffee and bladder cancer. Male coffee drinkers (4 cups/day or more)increase their chance of bladder cancer by 18%, but smokers (smoking increases chances of bladder cancer)who drink coffee have less chances of bladder cancer than smokers who do not drink coffee. Guest guest
There was an article some years ago that indicted that the antioxidant properties of coffee was due to a combination of things only present for the duration that the coffee had its fresh brewed steam, a maximum of 15-30 min. Also an article in the magazine Scientific American, a couple of years ago, on various scientifically measured aspects of coffee, written by the grandson of the inventor of the espresso machine. One curiosity presented was that quick extraction (as in the espresso process) brings out the more flavorfull, less bitter tasting components. Longer brewing (longer than ca. 30 seconds) brings out more unpleasant flavors, as one recognizes in the extreme case of restaurant coffee that's been sitting on low heat for hours. Perhaps physiologically active components are more positive when likewise fresher.
