Would like a suggestion for a safe anti-Inflammatory treatment

This would be for a fairly severe tissue wound on the leg with slight

puncture wound. Bad bruising. This happened at least 2 weeks ago.

This person is getting relief from Aleve but it says to only take for

10 days. I read there is a 50% increase in heart attack and stroke

with Aleve. Thanks for any recommendations.
