How can I heal a torn rotator cuff & tendonitis?

My husband injured his shoulder lifting something heavy, 2 months ago. When

the pain continued for weeks, he had an MRI and was told he had a torn

rotator cuff. He has been doing some exercises and it rarely hurts now. It

occasionally makes a clicking noise. He had expected to need surgery, but

since it

has improved so much while he has been out of work, we are thinking that he

may be able to work again without surgery. He won't see the specialist for

another month and will be doing heavy work again before that.

Does anyone have specific exercises, herbs, nutrients, foods, essential

oils, or any other ideas to help speed his recovery in the few weeks before he

returns to work?

Thanks!

This is anecdotal, however my husband had a severe torn rotator cuff with

tendonitis diagnosed by an orthopedic surgeon. At the same time his best friend

had the same problem. His friend had surgery my husband started on Glucosamine &

chondroiton & MSM. It is now 1 year later and his friend stil has pain and

limited movement, my husband has full range of motion, strengrth and is pain

free. It took about 3 months for him to feel any significant improvement and 6

months to where he was regaining significant strength. This is the problem with

the natural remedies, they take time to begin their rebuilding and we do not

wait long enough for this to take place.

I'd like to add to this one. I tore my rotator cuff, not severely, but badly

enough that I was in severe pain. I used deep massage on it for a couple of

months. It is still healing (this happened in mid-April) but I'm able to use it

for almost everything and I have full range of motion.

I learned this method from a woman who tore one shoulder and had surgery, then

tore the other and used massage. Surgery is not the only answer.

MSM cream is in health care stores and grocery stores, like Whole

Foods, or online. MSM cream has been used on animals for years. A

co-worker of mine uses on her horses. I had used a 'goat milk' MSM

cream from Grace Harbor Farms.

" MSM is a source of sulfur, a mineral element critical to the normal

function and structure of the body. Sulfur is a raw material of the

protein and connective tissue that make up our body mass, for enzymes

that conduct countless chemical reactions, and for powerful natural

compounds that protect us against toxicity and harmful oxidative

stress. Sulfur also has a long history of healing, " The Miracle of MSM

Hi,

I had a rotor cuff injury many years ago. I had no pain but was

unable to turn my shirt collar down if it got raised. I knew a

massage technician and was exchanging services with her. She was

Taoist, and taking courses in Tao techniques. Tao philosophy says

that the charkra in lower stomach (behind the belly button) is a

major junction of nerve pathways and energy. My friend came back

from one such course and began massaging my stomach. My right arm

began to move without my effort. When she finished, I was able to

reach down beyond my collar. The cure remains to this day.

Basically it was just one single treatment session.

Glad to be cured,

Jeff
