Harriett Rosenberg, Professor at the Health and Society Program, York

University, Toronto and Danielle Allard have recently published a 36-pages

meticulous, well-referenced report about statin treatment in women, its lack

of scientific evidence and the many risks. Please circulate this information

to as many influential people as possible.

You are probably aware of Gary Taubes' new book, Good Calories, Bad

Calories. On ABC News you can read an excerpt and many comments from

readers.

This letter has been sent to you because you have previously shown interest

in the many contradictions of the diet-cholesterol-heart hypothesis and/or

the work of our group THINCS, The International Network of Cholesterol

Skeptics (www.thincs.org ).
