Guest guest
Hi Jenn, Its great that acupuncture has helped. The only problem there is that you have to go there, pay for that. And its wonderful you have that option as needed. Here is another option, one you can do for yourself, at home -- either as an adjunct to acupuncture or to extend time between needed treatments, maybe even to take the place of same. A simple turn-around for anxiety is to turn off the triple warmer. (This is the flight or fight meredian that You trace this meridian from the outside eye, over the ear, down the neck, across the shoulder, along the outside of the arm, and exit off the finger between the middle and little fingers. This is one of hundreds of simple energy techniques to bring scrambled energy, running-backwards energy, frozen energy, over or under active energy flows, (etc. etc.) (which affect us mentally, emotionally, and physically) back to healthy functioning. All of which can be found in a book called Energy Medicine by Donna Eden, around $17 and available many major bookstores or from Amazon as new or used. The book is easy to read, well illustrated, and to me, its the bible of energy work for everything from emotional problems and mental fogs, to physical problems or dis-ease. I have mine lent out or I would check on the miscarriages and painful menstruation. Possibly she has info on those as well. (As I am past that age, I can't remember what if anything I read on those subjects). Any energy work you do that supports the natural and healthy function of the body (chakra spin, meridian flows, etc.) can only be helpful and will work in conjunct with any other modality (eg - herbal) that you use. She also has drills that directly affect physical systems, such as those that increase oxygen intake, lymph flow, and the like. Check it out -- I went to my local bookstore to see what it was all about, and after a few spot reads and flipping through the many charts and illustrations, I knew it was definitely a keeper. g
Guest guest
Hi Jenn, You could try various supplements (Selenium, vitamin E, B vitamins, etc) as per the site: http://www.doctoryourself.com/endometriosis.html You could find an enzyme capsule with Serratia peptidase in order to safely remove the scar tissue. Hope you find help. cheers, Russ. cuinoahu wrote something about: > I am new to the group and seeking alterntive medicines and treatment to combat my > endometriosis, infertiltiy and multiple miscarriages. Guest guest
A friend of mine cured herself by eliminating wheat gluten from her diet and added a heap of cruciate (broccoli type) veges as well - nothing else - of course she didn't smoke, drink alcohol or take artificial anything - no MSG, Aspartane etc Jane
Guest guest
Jenn - I just saw your email. I can totally relate to your frustration. I had terrible endometriosis and even had a 9 hour surgery, including two bowel resections. We tried everything (including fertility treatments) for years to get pregnant and had a couple losses as well. I turned to acupuncture and all sorts of alternative things. I live in Houston where we have a fantastic acupuncture clinic specializing in infertility. If you don't know of her already, I'd like to refer you to Dr. Randine Lewis. She has a book called The Infertility Cure in which she recommends various things, including dietary and herbal supplements. I took a ton of supplements, including OPC. I now have 2 beautiful children! Trying to get pregnant with endo is hard, but I think can often be done. Good luck! I have been struggling with infertility for the last four years with two more pregnancies in
