Guest guest
Yes Carolyn you can apply the honey in the eye and on the eyelids. Make sure you really dilute the honey with bottled water. Or you can boil water to disinfect it and let it cool down. If you don't dilute the honey enough you will feel a slight stinging sensation which is nothing to worry about, just blink a lot. My dry eyes and eyelids get very itchy and gritty. I believe the honey remedy is of ayervedic India origin. I tried everything and the honey is the only remedy that works for me. Different remedies work differently for other people. I believe in trying everything until I find a healing. Honey also heals wounds. You are lucky to have fresh organic honey.
