Guest guest
I have a small skin tag (lesion) that I acidentally scratched (almost all the way off) last night. I was wondering if this increases the risk of cancer and what I shoulld do now to minimize this risk? This reminded me of a time I had some skin tags on my neck and wanted them removed but had no insurance, I went to a doctor and asked them how they remove them. He said they cut them off. (I thought it would be a more fancy procedure) . So I went home, grabbed some scissors, rubbed some alcohol on them, and cut them off myself. LOL! Yikes..those things bleed, but they were gone. I never had any more problems and I doubt if you will either. But I wouldn't recommend anyone doing what I did ;-). Gloria

Guest guest
Yikes is right! I remember when we were in Junior High that some of the kids pierced their own ears - this was before you get find someone in every mall to do it and we only had one mall. They put ice cubes on the ears to numb it so they would feel the needle. Too late for you, but I bet that hurt. <s> Karen herbal remedies , MorningGlory113@a... wrote: > > > I have a small skin tag (lesion) that I acidentally > > scratched (almost all the way off) last night. Guest guest
I had some two removed by a doctor and all he did was snip them off - they did seem to bleed excessively but they healed just fine. I did use Tea Tree oil on the wound for a few days but other than that I did nothing special. - MorningGlory113 herbal remedies Friday, April 08, 2005 10:41 AM Re: Herbal Remedies - Skin Tag Natural Remedy Question for Doc and Everybody I have a small skin tag (lesion) that I acidentallyscratched (almost all the way off) last night. Guest guest
Yikes is right! I remember when we were in Junior High that some of the kids pierced their own ears I pierced my own ears tooooooo!!! That was a night to remember. I did it in the bathroom without my parents knowing. Had the ice cubes, alcohol, needle etc. all ready, but it didn't work out as planned. You can't hold an ice cube to your ear plus try to stick a needle in at the same time. It was a total mess and, out of sheer frustration, I finally ditched the ice (which was quickly melting and dripping down my face) and mustered up the courage to jam that needle in both lobes. A friend of mine had pierced ears (which I thought was so cool!) and this was before the magic piercing gun made it's debut, so I took matters into my own hands. Just like with my do-it-yourself skin tag removal! God help me if a doctor tells me I need liver or kidney surgery!! LOL! Gloria
Guest guest
When I was in the military, servicing on ship, we had a simple procedure for tags. We would simple tie dental floss around the base to stop the blood supply and let it fall off.MorningGlory113 wrote: I have a small skin tag (lesion) that I acidentallyscratched (almost all the way off) last night.
