Guest guest
JanThanks for the information. I have eliminated the fluoride in my water and toothpaste, etc. for several years now. I know first hand the dangers of Teflon. You are so right about the fumes killing pet birds. I lost the love of life (nanday conure) to Teflon fumes. This was before I knew the dangers. I have three birds and no Teflon!Ireneimclark [Original Message]> zoomom9 <zoomom9> 5/13/2005 9:53:57 AM>>> Its known that fluoride is very bad for the thyroid, and can cause > malfunction and thyroid diseases/disorders. > Another common route of exposure is thru the use of non-stick > cookware and/or stovetop drip pans and/or ovens. We have 5 " bird-kids " now, and I won't even let any of those non-stick coatings into our home. (they are using them in everything nowadays!)
