The tooth extracted was a failed root canal, so there was some

abcessing below the roots. The dentist prescribed antibiotics to get

rid of the infection, but I haven't taken them in years and I don't

want to now unless I absolutely have to.

Are there any natural remedies I can use to clear the abcess? I have

all kinds of herbs, essential oils, and a few tinctures. I took a

dose of goldenseal tincture, and a couple of futurebiotics brand

immune formula (garlic, goldenseal, and echinacea), but I'd like to

hear what suggestions you all might have, so that I can get proactive

asap and keep this from becoming a problem.

Thanks,

Shayla

Hi Shayla,

Have a look at Total Tonic in the files on the website, and of course you can use straight organic garlic, nature's bestest antibiotic!

Oh, yes, I'm a firm believer in total tonic, but just two days ago I

threw out the remainder of my homemade TT because it was smelling iffy

(I never strained it). I don't think I'll be able to get a hold of

horseradish, but I guess I can make the new batch without it. I have

a few cloves of garlic, though, so I can start taking that right away.

Thanks!
