Guest guest
I am also a nurse who has worked in the hospital for 15+ years and stopped working there for the same reasons. But now I hire myself out to people who have to go into the hospital for surgery or procedures, to protect them and comfort them. I doublecheck all medications, keep the risk of infection down, ask questions of their doctors and explain so that they understand, document who did what, when, research their diagnosis on the internet, give massages and reflexology, reiki, and show them compassion. I am their Private Patient Advocate. I offer information and support. One patient has stopped her meds since I visited her for a month earlier in the year. She now no longer feels ill and no longer shakes uncontrollably. She is very happy about this. Best, Jane Who's never won? Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music.
