Guest guest
Hi My name is Marie, and I am reduced to eating only veggies and potato, rice, and corn bread. I have cut out glutin. I also get kidney stones every year. Don't know how to eat anymore, as my hands are cracking (no doubt from lack of vitamins). My gut hurts the whole next day if I take any vitamin tablet. Can't touch fruits as I get inflamed. I do have biological chedder cheese and I do ok with that. Any suggestions? Can I go ahead with a liver, kidney, candida, and metal cleanse, or is it too dangerous for my kidneys, as I have stones and am scared of malfunction. I've never done any type of cleansing. Because of the stones, (oxalates giving me problems) my kidneys cannot digest potassium and phosphorus, so you can imagine the problems I get if I eat dairy or meat. I am thinking of going to my urologist and asking him to guide me through the cleansing, so I don't drop dead, but I know that docs really are not educated in natural healing. I realize that I am only going to get worse if I don't make the decision to cleanse and try to heal my intestinal walls. I only want to function like a normal person. Thanks, and regards, Marie

Guest guest
Digestive enzymes. If you are very toxic, with many food intolerances, you might want to start with one of the formulas geared toward the autism community. A great site to learn about enzymes is www.enzymestuff.com. That's where I started. I use Houston enzymes with my daughter, but I personally use several brands, including Kirkman's (another company that caters to autism) and Enzymedica, which can usually be found local in a pinch. The website explains how to choose the right product for your particular food issues. We experienced all the benefits of the gluten-free, casein-free diet, even though we made very few changes to our eating habits. My 12 dd, who has Asperger's and SID (misdiagnosed with ocd and tourette's by msm), was able to hold eye contact (for the first time EVER) on day 3 of enzymes. She also experienced a reduction in auditory integration issues ("Mom, I can hear you better now"). She had been having headaches and stomachaches (cause unknown) for a couple years. That stopped completely (and immediately) with digestive enzymes. She lost 8 pounds, along with her food cravings and buddha-belly. Taking enzymes is the ONLY thing I do not have to remind her to do. I have experienced a 95% reduction in stomach pain, inflammation and nausea by using them myself. I haven't been disabled by food/digestion issues since last May, when I started the enzymes. I had a 7+ year history of extreme stomach and digestion issues. Not only will the enzymes break down the food, so your body can absorb the nutrients, they will help to heal your gut. I haven't tackled the oxalate issue yet, so I'm not sure what herbs would be contraindicated. I believe cherries are good for the kidneys, but might be a problem with oxalates or maybe phenols. As far as cleansing, have you considered something transdermal like clay baths, infrared sauna or castor oil packs? Guest guest
Marie, you need vitamin B6 and magnesium DAILY to stop forming oxylate stones, plenty of distilled water, and flax oil for your skin and kidneys. Guest guest
Hello Tracy, well this may a bit complicated. For the past 34 years I get inflamation up the rectum and the lining on the walls of my urine bladder. All started after I had chicken pox at the ripe age of 19. So I assume I have interstitial cystitis and inflamatory bowel disease. I stopped getting inflamed when I stopped all fruits, and fruit juices, preservatives, alcohol, soft drinks. Basically I stuck to natural foods, all home cooked. I also couldn't tolerate cooked tomato sauce and onions. I'd get inflamed. So I was able to live normally, as long as I avoided just about everything. At the natural food store they were promoting 2 products: Moducare which is plant fat, and another product which is extremely high in acidophilis content. I took those for 2 months and then I stopped suddenly. My mistake was that I didn't faze off slowly. I then developed pain in the intestines, and was in pain 24/7 for 2 years. I improved that by eliminating gluten completely. After 7 years, I now am not in terrible pain. I am almost normal, as long as I avoid eating just about everything. But now I develop kidney stones every year and have attacks. This year I had stones in both my kidneys and at that point the walls of my rectum would get dry and crack. You cannot imagine what pain that caused when I had to go to the washroom. Then I researched on internet, and realized that with all the stones in my kidneys, they were not functioning properly, and my kidneys were not able to digest foods high in phosphorus and potassium. Would you believe that after suffering for 2 months, that when I eliminated those foods high in phosphorus & potassium, the walls in my rectum healing within 24 hours. You'd think that the problem was nothing but a nightmare. So there it is, I can't have meat or dairy= too high in potassium and phosphorus. Can't have gluten. Can't have fruits. No junk food. I now eat rice, potatoes, some corn bread, bit chicken, fish, Cannot have condiments or salt. They fry my insides. I can still have veggies, but that is how I end up with high oxalates, which are giving me my frequent kidney stones. That's it. Don't know how to eat anymore. My hands are cracked, I need vitamins, but they distroy me for a day too. Thanks for replying, regards, Marie (hope I haven't shocked you. , T D <ctrs1998 wrote: > > Hi Marie > Im a little confused with your post. Guest guest
Hello Darla, You are right about the autism diet. I saw Jenny McCarthy on Larry King Live. (She is Jim Carrey's girlfriend, and her son is autistic.) She wrote a book about how she is healing him. Basically, his problem is an overgrowth of candida. This occurred after he had his childhood vaccinations. I haven't bought her book, but I do believe that she is on the right track. I myself have bought a few books on candida, and it is supposed to cause a great many malfuncions in the body. I guess I have to do a candida cleanse, as obviously my intestinal wall is damaged. But at the natural food store, they told me that when you do cleanses, you must start with the liver cleanse, kidney cleanse and then the candida cleanse, and then the metal cleanse. But I am a bit scared cause of the difficulties I had these last few months with my kidneys. But I know that if I don't make a decision, I will just keep getting worse, and suffer more and more, and end up not being able to eat anything. Thanks for your reply, Regards, Marie -- In , " Darla Starkey " <dsstarkey wrote: > > Digestive enzymes. Guest guest
, " cjcamt " <marie.eva wrote: > > Hello Darla, You are right about the autism diet. Dear Marie, I agree with Darla that digestive enzymes may be helpful for you. You also might consider taking some therapeutic grade probiotics. Here's a link to an excellent product called Bio-Kult that contains 14 strains of beneficial bacteria: http://www.nutrivene.com/view_item.php?ProductID=226 & Supplementing your diet with magnesium might also be helpful for you. Here's an article about how increased intake of magnesium may be beneficial in dissolving kidney stones: http://www.mgwater.com/rod16.shtml Here's a link to a magnesium citrate product that is easily absorbed: http://www.calmnatural.com/ Both Dr. Hulda Clark and Dr. Richard Schulze also have protocols for kidney cleansing that you might consider looking into: http://www.drclark.net/en/cleanses_clean-ups/kidney_cleanses.php http://www.herbdoc.com/p35.asp http://www.herbdoc.com/p31.asp And you also might wish to consider taking some kind of super food supplement to provide you with some good quality nutrition. Here's a link to one of (if not THE) first super foods ever invented: http://www.thesynergycompany.com/pages/pure-synergy.html From what I understand, it's also very important for those with kidney problems to drink copious amounts of fluids. The more I learn about the best ways to attain and maintain good health, the more it's becoming clear that when people are confronted with any kind of chronic disease, two of the most important things they can do for themslves on the journey towards wellness are a) a well thought out program of periodic (or even ongoing) internal cleansing/detoxification, and b) the regular consumption of as much superior nutrition as possible. There's no doubt that our environment (as well as our bodies) has become rife with toxic poisons and pollutants. And as a result of the rampant practice of industrialized agriculture and factory farming, much of the topsoil in the western world has become radically depleted of the microbial life and trace minerals required to grow nutritionally dense foods. So if we are truly to become well, then it only makes sense that we must not only cleanse and purge our bodies of the toxins that have accumulated within us, but we must also find a way to regularly supplement our diets with the kind of nutrient dense products that will provide us with the widest range of quality nourishment possible. I hope this helps, Marie. Perhaps if you do some research and find some cleansing and nutritional protocols that work for you, there's a good chance that this may help to direct you towards the path you're seeking so that you may begin to restore at least some greater measure of good health for yourself. Best of luck, elan
