Guest guest
Hello Group! I'm a second year TCM student, (quit my high $$, high stress job in the traditional medical field to attend school full time) and I'm on a bit of a budget. There are SOOOO many wonderful books out there that I can't afford to add to my library at this point. I'm interested in all topics; nutrition, acupuncture, body work, cupping, moxa, pulse, tongue, etc; Chinese, Japanese, Korean; If anyone has any books they would like to sell that is in a student's price-range, please email me privately so as not to clutter the list. I'm in the states, so international shipping might not be an option. I enjoy all of the information shared here. Thanks so much. Guest guest
Hi Jean, Besides Amazon Marketplace there are many other online stores where you can find new and used books at greatly reduced prices. If you use addall.com, you can scan many stores including Amazon (new and used), Overstock, and half.com. Half.com is very similar to ebay in that you have lots of students re-selling the books that thay no longer need or used. There are some great values. I have had only one bad experience, but half.com refunded my money. So by putting in the keyword " gua sha " into addall.com, I came up with the Gua Sha book by Nielsen with a price range of 25.00 on Half.com, up to 52 on Barnes and Noble. So it is a good way to find books. Sometimes the savints can even be greater. Hope this helps, Rich
