The materials showed as below, and alike: Yangxi (L I 5) Location: on the radial end of dorsal crease of the wrist. When the thunb is held up, it is in the depression between the tendons of m.extensor pollicis longus and brevis. Indications: remove obstruction from the channels and ease the collaterals: rheumatic arthritis, tenosynovitis of the wrist, local topical soft tissue injury. Method: Puncture perpendicularly with 1 cun needle. depth of insertion is about 0.5cun. Shousanli (LI 10) Location: on the line joining Yangxi(LI 5) and Quchi(LI 11). Indications: removing obstruction in the local channels: numbness and pain of the hand and arm, rheumatalgia, dyskinesia caused by nerve injury.
