Guest guest
Actually, That is not it at all. Home businesses are allowed in my town, it is just a matter of courtesy with the parking. I live on a street with a lot of student rental housing, and they often take over the street with their cars, irritating the neighbors, so I try to be courteous. There are a lot of grey areas with home business (as with students renting family housing), depending on scale, but I don't want to go into it here. If I wanted to, I could see twice as many patients in a larger clinic. I just don't want to at this point of my life. I also practiced in Denver near Doc Rosen, and in the 80's I saw close to 100 patients per week. I have no desire to see that volume anymore. Having said that, I understand your dilemma. It sounds all too easy for successful practitioners to brush off those who are having difficulties making it. There are no easy solutions, but all I could suggest for you is perseverance. If you don't like something you see on the list, find that key on your keyboard that says " delete " and press it. The young man suggested that he was considering an attempt at practice in Florida. I am already there, I see a downside, should I have *not* said so, let him come here and have the same problems? Can I help it that it touched a number of nerves, maybe a lot of people are having the same issue? And all the other stuff coming out, how the people who make it do make it! Guest guest
Pete, >My point exactly, you can't do this legal and still profit, the money isn't there. Oh, yeah, my place is legal - just not enough patients to make it pay. No one can operate legal and compete with crooks.< PLEASE! Get off this bit about you need to break the law etc . Time after time folks answer you that it is not true of them or their practices . My practice was not legal 37 tears ago because there were no Acupuncture laws or liscenses back then! Same when i moved to Colorado no liscense available . So instead of whining or blaming the universe or everyone else Z'ev,, and Andy M, and Bob F, and Susan C-B, and Jim Mac, and I got together and wrote and passed a law to allow us to practice legally! I hold the first liscense in Colorado and - B'ruch Ha shem i make a good living. best wishes, Doc I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; I will not refuse to do the something I can do. - Helen Keller
