Hi all,

Since I notice we've been having post problems, I decided to re-post

my question.

I read in one of my Chinese Herb books that ginkgo biloba is NOT

supposed to be taken long term because it's slightly toxic? Is this

true? I'm asking, because this is the ONLY source which I have found

this statement.

Thanks,

Elizabeth

The fresh raw seeds are toxic and potentially poisonous.

People eating cooked ginkgo seeds is well documented. The " Botanical

Safety Handbook " put out by the American Herbal Products Association

suggests no more than 10 boiled or roasted seeds a day.

That mentioned, most people in the West take the leaves for therapy.

What are you asking the herb to do for you?
