In my mind Yin/Yang is one way to express the opposites that are unavoidable in ³duality consciousness². Another fundamental expression of this is subjective/objective. In a world that devalues expressions of Yin and worships the Yang, we have a yang medicine moved forward by objective research. Can Yin medicine ever yield to objectivity or will it always hide; like darkness hides from light. Guest guest Posted June 22, 2005 Report Share Posted June 22, 2005 My understanding of Yang and Yin is that they not seperate. Within Yang is Yin and within Yin is Yang. Therefore, measuring one will always contain the other. So Yang medicine is more like excessive Yang, but there is still Yin. Hope that helps!
