This period is one of the most important so far this millennium. On

March 10 at about 4:30 pm eastern standard time, the planet Uranus

changes sign, moving form Aquarius into Pisces. Anytime one of the outer

planets changes sign, significant changes occur. Uranus changes signs

every seven years, and is a key player in the cycles of change that we

experience. More on the ramifications of this later.

 

 

Since the New Moon occurs on the second day of this period, things will

start off slowly; a very quiet time. There will be much about the noble

cause for war, yet the true situation will become more apparent, and

this will both confuse and scare people. Ironically the same energy

pattern as on 9-11 is occurring, yet this time the division in ideology

will be to prevent violence.

 

 

(AST): The Sun (conscious awareness) in Pisces (illusion, insight) is

inconjunct (karmic tie) Jupiter (expansion, optimism) in ego-centric

Leo. The illusions especially pertaining to the need for war will be

more transparent. Jupiter opposes (outer conflict) Neptune (which rules

Pisces), and all this war talk will create more anxiety and insecurity.

Saturn (rigidity) in Gemini (mind, ideas) opposes (conflicts with) Pluto

(hidden power) and Mars (war, strife) in idealistic Sagittarius.

Rhetoric verses religious dogma, in a sense, two conflicting ideas with

little understanding. A tense time.

 

With a strong build up of energy concerned with the World, peace, the

environment, and humanity in general, don't expect a blow up soon.

 

 

(AST): Neptune (idealism), the Moon (maternal feelings), Mercury

(thoughts, ideas), and Uranus (self-awareness) all in Aquarius (concern

for others and the world). Expect many more to voice opposition to

plunging the world into chaos. With Uranus changing sign on March 10,

sudden changes and awakenings will occur. Mars (war) is in Capricorn

(big business, corporations) at that time, so the rational behind all

this will come to light.

 

These drama play out in our own lives, as individuals, as well as the

world stage. Expect clashes and adjustments, conflicts in beliefs, yet a

basic concern for making things better and overcoming unresolved issues.

This period brings us a Full Moon (March 18th) and the beginning of

Spring (March 20th). Here in the Great White North that will be a

welcome time as this Winter has lasted twice as long as normal. Let us

hope that the return to life and warm weather that Spring brings to the

Earth happens on time and quickly. This month (March 10) brought

something even more important; the transit of Uranus into Pisces. These

sign changes take pace every seven years. The transit of Uranus into

Aquarius in 1996 brought us the internet and cell phones due to

Aquarius' connection to wave phenomena. It brought us all into

technological connection. Uranus in Pisces will bring us all into an

intuitive connection which has already begun (see below).

 

This period has extreme energy patterns beyond the features mentioned

above. Spring represents new beginnings, and Full Moons represent

endings, and perhaps that inherent contradiction is most appropriate.

The focus is on understanding and seeing the true picture, of

intuitively realizing the Truth of where we are and what is going on in

the world. These insightful breakthroughs are locked into the conflict

that has gripped us for the past two years, ever since 9 11. The way out

is by calmly and objectively trusting our insights and seeing the right

action. What is conflicting with this are the age old drives of ego and

greed.

 

 

(AST): There is a major stress pattern that is precise and forcing by

nature. The Sun (conscious awareness) in intuitive and farseeing Pisces

is conjunct Mercury (thoughts, ideas) and Venus (needs, love) in the

sector of the subconscious and emotional healing. These three are

exactly square (inner conflict and stress) Saturn (fear and doubt) and

Pluto (egocentric power). Pluto and Saturn are still in opposition to

each other as they were during the 9 11 time. We are now being forced to

confront the issues inherent in that tragedy and in the supposed threat

to our lives and future. This formation is called a T-square, a

basically stressful and unbalanced formation (aspect). The release point

of this energy is through the sign of Virgo, which brings calm,

objective, rational and practical solutions.

 

 

This would be fairly straightforward if it weren't for the influence of

the Moon, here representing how our fears and security issues are being

played upon for personal gain. The Moon (past, fears, safety issues) is

in egotistical Leo, exactly inconjunct (karmic lessons and decisions)

the Sun/Mercury/Venus conjunction, and trines (expanding) Pluto, and

sextiles (getting others to help) Saturn, fueling the world conflict,

and overriding seeing the Truth. The Moon in Leo here represents the age

old concept of ego and greed. The choice is ours, each of us, and should

be in the direction of endings (war especially based on greed and power)

as in the Full Moon, and new and sane beginnings, as in Spring.

 

So we see that the inherent contradiction as in having the Full Moon at

the Spring Equinox may not be such a contradiction after all.
