Guest guest
Yes Chris, I'm new to the making tinctures...but it doesn't seem too hard. HEAL has kits and I can purchase herbs from bulk companies. Pacific Botanicals is all organic. I have a friend who is coming up to my mountain in May to show me the wild edibles on my land and we will make tinctures then. I know many herbs but want to get better at identifying and making wild salads, etc. I have mullien up here which is a wonderful herb. And last year I literally stumbled on short toothed mountain mint, in the woods and the aroma was so wonderful that I got my book and identified it. I'm on a wild foraging list if anyone is interested. Diana of Dewberry Hill (eating Dewberry Jam from last year) it is a very good idea to learn how to make the tinctures, and it is REALLY easy to do, and far less expensive. Another really good thing about making them yourself is you can customize your blends to really suit your individual needs. One more great thing about tinctures is that they last for AGES if stored properly! *Smile* Chris (list mom Platinum - Watch CBS' NCAA March Madness, live on your desktop!
