Amazing when I can see in my own hair (for the first time since I was about 21 ;-) lots of grey. She's also extremely intelligent and hates dumb blonde jokes. She would have taken off my left ear if I had said that to HER! LOL! And yes, I remember the last go-round that Iraquis were just laying down their guns as quick as they could, but I also remember the crack troops who didn't. Those are the ones that won't give in so easily ME thinks. > > > Y'all keep smiling, Butch > Kinda hard when you're waiting for the bell to ring at the starting gate. Guest guest
Yo Kathleen, > AND if the Iraqis put one little toe out of line, Bush has already > got crack military teams in place. Methinks it will be easier than some think. Though I have no direct knowledge I would expect that the 6th Psychological Operation Battalion has been doing their thing .. either broadcasting or leaflet dispersing warning the Iraqi people to stand fast .. and the Iraqi soldiers to not resist .. and that the operations are NOT against the Iraqi people. I'm thinking this will be a test to determine how many Iraqi officers have been brain-washed and how many Iraqi soldiers are fed up with Saddam and his regime. Methinks the biggest problem is going to be feeding and providing water to the tens of thousands of Iraqi soldiers who will immediately give up their arms. Some have already escaped into Northern Iraq and given up to the Kurds .. this is really surprising in that they gave themselves up to a group that had been previously gassed by the Iraqi Army. This is but one of the war crimes Saddam must answer to. Lots on Non-Essential folks leaving Turkey now. Less than 8 hours to go and butts are tight in the area. I'm watching my back but I'm gonna go down to the pub for a while and rub it in on some of the Turks. The party in power stepped on it .. most of my educated buddies agree but I want to remind those who less enlightened that the cost of peace can be far more expensive than the cost of war. I'll give odds that within 30 days the folks who protested the war will be protesting the party in power for not entering the fray .. masses are fickle .. especially when lead by disoriented shepherds. > This from a totally stupid and naive " shoulda been a Blonde " I was born blond .. what little hair I have left is still blond. Course my goatee is a bit white but I'm still a nat'ul blond. ;-p > Cheers! > Kathleen Petrides > The Woobey Queen > http://www.woobeyworld.com Yep .. and y'all. Hoping all goes well I am .. and thinking it will. Y'all keep smiling, Butch
