Guest guest
Mia, No its a bad case of nerves. If I stay nervous, I stay skinny. Plus I don't eat any real meals. The candy is my meals. I don't like to eat alone. My husband works afternoon. I some nights have Dove bar for dinner. But it a long hard trip to the basement freezer. Take care Nancy MM, So sorry you can't seem to gain any weight. Guest guest
Yo David, > Butch, > > When I moved to California some years ago, I had a 27 inch waste. Ha > ha ha, not telling what I am now. I was 27 inches in the waist when I was like 25 years old. ;-p When I joined the Army my contract read " 101st Airborne Division Artillery " , and they had to honor it UNLESS I didn't make it through Jump School. Well .. the PT test was but boring for me .. I was a jock and a half back then. BUT .. my butt was too light .. I was underweight to jump out of airplanes using T-10 and T-7A chutes. I was just 17 years old so it didn't take long for a steady army messhall diet to take me from 119 pounds to 130 pounds .. and I was allowed to go to Jump School. ;-) > Hey, I've been working really hard this year and am happy to report > that my `fat pants' are almost pornographic. That is, they are so > lose now that they almost fall off my body. A year ago they were so > tight as to be uncomfortable. I sure do feel a lot better. I hear you .. I go up and down ten pounds a year .. fat winters and lose it in the summers. > What happened, is for some reason my car developed this ability to > become invisible and other cars would smash into me. I got the `Oh I > didn't see you' (I'm think yea, I'm so invisible in a 2 ton car?) Hawhawhaw .. I walk everywhere now .. but I don't go many places. I walk to work and to the pub .. and like now, its after 2 in the morning and I've been sitting on my butt in front of this PC since 9 this morn. No way to avoid fat butt when one sits 100 + hours a week. I used to run 5 miles a day for most of the 30 years I spent in uniform .. and even after retirement I ran 2-3 miles 2-3 times a week .. and walked dang near every where I went. But that was before I opened Anatolian Treasures. :-( > Anyway, I'm better now and can work out and all that good stuff. > What really helped get me is cutting out the sugar and refined > carbs. If you want to read more I'd recommend books by Atkins, > Sears, or Perricone. When you get into them, they are all pretty > similar (IMO). Thanks podner .. but I don't need the books .. and I have never ever in my entire life tried to diet with food .. I did go on a High Protien NO FOOD diet for two weeks once .. but to lose weight, I just stop eating sweets and drinking colas .. and sip whiskey instead of guzzeling beer, and walk .. I don't run anymore .. not good for you after a certain age regardless of whether you've done it all your life. I don't know that Perricone feller .. but Atkins is dead and Sears doesn't give catalogues anymore so the heck with them. ;-p > Anyway, sometimes it's more fun just to have some good dark chocolate! > Fer'shur .. I am a choconut .. I can eat it big time and here in Turkey chocolate ice cream has bits and pieces or REAL hard chocolate in it. No artificial flavors in the ice creams and desserts here .. and they are danged hard to avoid. Even walking, I pass a pastry shop on each corner. :-( > David Roman Y'all keep smiling, Butch
