Guest guest
Internal bleeding is nothing to mess with in my opinion. I would contact doctor and express extreme concern and possibly provide him with your lawyer's contact information so he can start to settle malpractice suit now. I know of a gentleman that no longer walks the face of this earth as the hospital sent him home after an accident unaware that he took a motorcycle handlebar to the midsection and his spleen was ruptured. He bled to death at home. So maybe there is a family doctor who can do something if not the hospital. Demand they find the source or take to another hospital or town if necessary. Due whatever is necessary to help her. Guest guest
Once again I turn to y'all for your thoughts and opinions. Last week my aunt and uncle where T-boned at an intersection in Myrtle Beach, SC, their home town, on the passenger side of the vehicle. They were in a small pickup. My uncle was driving and he is sore, lots of soft tissue injuries but no broken bones. My aunt was taken to the hospital, this was Wednesday. Monday they released her to go home. My cousin drove up from Fl to care for her. This morning my aunt tells me she is having internal bleeding... so far they have not found the source. She said she is in so much pain she just can't believe it. Sounds to me like she needs to be in the hospital still. Does anyone have an opinion before I call back and express my opinion to my cousin. This just sounds crazy to me! As always thanking you in advance, Janet

If >so, what the hell is she doing home? People DIE from IB... Yes, they told her they were finding several blood pooling around her liver and kidneys, last Thursday. Monday past when they were releasing her to go home they said due to the continuation of IB she would need to have several additional tests done on an out patient basis. Baffles me she has great insurance, besides the medical on the car insurance. I have been sipping tea trying to decide how to say " this is nuts " with out sounding crazy. My cousin is a dear girl if you can deal with a 45 yr old air head. My aunt is in such pain I want to express my concern without alarming her to the point where she flips out mentally. She has been hospitalized more than once with " nervous breakdowns " . My uncle god love him still believes Doctors are gods and should never be questioned. My mother just called to ask if I was driving back down there?! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????????? after all it is only about 20 hours straight thru.... Then mother, god love her, said well maybe she would be better off up there with you since you are so close to the hospital and know so many people in the medical community in Madison. " Mom, do you think it would be wise for me to transport her here, what on a plane or in the van? " . DUH! I half way expected my dad to pipe in with " What oil do you diffuse to stop IB. LOL! I will take your devil child and raise you 5 adults. You seeing my bid or folding? Ok deep breath, more tea, look up medical mal-practice attorney, compose my self and call. Thanks y'all, Janet Thanks
Guest guest
I almost died from internal bleeding. The doctors sent me home not knowing that a blood vessel had ruptured on the outside of the heart and the pericardial sac was filling with blood. My sister heard me groaning and woke up my mom. They took out a half cup of blood with a big needle. I was 7 years old. Fell out of a tree and landed flat on my back, dislocated my collar bone, that's all the doctors were concerned with. Glad to be here today! Kat Janet Golden-Hogan [janetkgolden] Wednesday, April 30, 2003 1:46 PM Re: OT: Need a " second " opinion > > This just sounds crazy to me! > > > >Me TOO!
