Thankee m'am .. I'm fine. It was south and east of me .. a 6.4. Near

Bingol. Epicenter was local as the area is sparsely populated but it hit

a village/town and caused a lot of damage .. likely the death toll will

exceed 100 .. leveled a school dorm with maybe 100 students inside so

they'll not know till they dig through. It tumbled like house of

cards. :-( Its a slow process by necessity but there are negative and

positive aspects to that much caution.

 

Military and mountain rescue teams are on the scene and it appears they

have the appropriate rescue equipment .. hospitals in that area are

sufficient to handle most situations .. the Turkish military will

medevac those needing more advanced medical treatment. Hard to say how

many are injured .. most Turk villagers will go home and treat

themselves if they can .. but odds are it will be 600 or more.
