Yo Lisa,

> > Just seems like we are in a group with a bunch of Bush bashers. Lisa

Most folks on the list giggled when they read the above .. cause they

know I'm a George Bush supporter .. a conservative retired US Army

Officer .. a Republican (how could a retiree be anything else)? But as

Anya said .. I would support any Commander in Chief .. well .. almost

any .. I can't imagine Hail to the Chief with Hillary Clinton standing

up front. ;-p

IF .. somebody doesn't care .. and IF they think our Commander in Chief

is a US problem and can have no affect on their lives .. they oughta

mebbe pull their heads out where the sun shines methinks. ;-)

And .. reference Anya's post on the " dry drunk " .. most any analyst will

approach a task from their particular prejudicial point of view. Long,

long ago I found that psychologists or those who try to use psychology

to explain folks are generally out in left field. One of my undergrads

was in Psych. Professor wanted me to go on to a Masters in Psch but I

couldn't see it happening .. why?

Cause we had to do case studies on each other. Pretty soon, all my good

friends were nuts .. abnormal as hell. Then one day whilst shaving I

looked in the mirror and danged if'n I didn't another abnormal dude

looking back at me. ;-p

Tawk about syndromes and paranoia and modes of thinking and obsessive

thought patterns and rational vs irrational and folks manifesting this

and that and classic patterns .. we gotta be real careful using such

terms .. and we gotta avoid mirrors.

As for his use/abuse/experiences with alcohol .. I followed the bouncing

ball throughout the story and found the pattern to be perfectly normal

from my perspective. He was only at it for 20 years .. I'm coming up on

40 plus years of alcohol use now and them whut knows me would likely say

they think my brain is not damaged so badly. ;-)

Finally, gonna tell you a secret. Kathleen is really a closet

conservative .. don't let her fool you. ;-p

Dear dear Butch . . . you NEVER cease to make me smile. If you are ever in the

Midwest, we just gotta sit and have a cup of coffee . . . or maybe a stiff

drink. LOL!!

Darn it Butch, you went and " Outted me. " Well, now at least I don't need to

keep me red white and blue knickers, with a picture of Bush on the backside a

secret any more!

Ooooh La LA! ;-)

Cheers!
