Guest guest
Hello everyone, I would like to thank all those who have emailed me privately during my aunt's illness, but I'm sad to say she died on Thursday. I have been away from my computer since and I apologize if I have not responded to any of your emails. She had multiple disease process mainly cardiac and I knew deep inside she would not last this year I was just not ready for it soooo fast. But the again we never are. She was not only an aunt but a " MOM " to me as well, I'm still an emotional wreck, and I don't know if I'm coming or going. But what keeps me going is that I gave her my 200% when she was with me. Being a nurse when I saw fire rescue get her off the truck and the conditions she was in I knew at that moment it was the end, this would be the last time I saw her alive. I've been diffusing oils to help lift my spirit but I know how the grieving process goes and it takes time. If you all have any suggestions I will gladly appreciate it. Guest guest
Hi Marlen, sorry to hear about your loss. I am in a similar situation and it would be great if there was an oil that helped. If you find anything that helps, please post. I am new to this group and am a novice with oils. Violet
Guest guest
Hi Violet, thanks for the good thoughts, I knew she would not last this year, I was just not expecting for it to be so fast. I have been in and out of Mount Sinai with her since Jan of this year, she was tired and had already given up. I'm an emotional wreck, I can be doing OK one minute and crying the next, but I know it takes time. I had been using Lavender to relax and calm my self down. Butch recommended I use " Rose Otto and Lavandula angustifolia " . I will tell you I prepared a warm bath last night and added some drops of the Rose & Lavandula and I felt much better when I was done. It has been the first night I slept the entire night for over a week. I hope everything goes OK with your loved one. I will tell you one of the major things that is helping me now is that I gave her all the love, compassion and anything else she needed while she was with me. That helps a great deal, at least it has for me.
