A new Deep Tissue Class

Hello,

 

As for me, this class will be a continuing ed class. I have taken massage

classes from the Calistoga Massage School before and I am thrilled that Dr.

Ticen will be teaching it.

 

I live in 60 miles north of San Francisco in Rohnert Park, CA. The class will

be taught at Calistoga Massage Therapy School 2801 Yulupa Ave # B Santa Rosa, CA

95405 (707) 542-4577. It is Deep Tissue 1 Tuition $750. 50 hours Fridays: July;

Aug.1, 8, 15, 22. 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

 

Dr. Ticen will personally teach this hands on deep tissue massage class.

Dr.Ticen has over 25 years of experience both treating patients and teaching

different bodywork systems along with Anatomy and Physiology. He has the

ability to make a class come alive with his own wealth of experiences and

organized down to earth practical teaching style. Dr. Ticen is able to clearly

explain how, why and when to do these different bodywork systems.

 

Below is a description of the class:

 

The use of fingers knuckles, hands, forearm and elbows will be utilized. This

class will be more than just harder-deeper massage. We will explore different

ways of working muscles and tissue using a variety of techniques to relax and

stretch muscles. Different deep tissue systems will be covered along with the

theories and indications for the work. Forearm and elbow work, body mechanics,

palpation and anatomy will be stressed.

 

Please just delete this if you want. I wanted to share it with anyone that is

close enough to take advantage of this class. Dr. Ticen doesn't get much time

to teach and it is a pleasure to be able to take any class he teaches. He is an

exceptional healer and he is very well known and respected in the Napa Sonoma

Valley. He is especially well-known in Calistoga and Santa Rosa.

In California, we all have to take continuing education to get recertified so

these type of announcments are very important to CMT's.
