Hi y'all,

I'm gonna tell y'all about a rather unique essential oil .. Catnip.

Concentrated it is .. not for kittys. For that matter, no EO is for

kittys .. their metabolism is different from ours.

So .. why do we need Catnip EO? Skeeter Repellent!

Why Catnip EO to repell Skeeters? Well .. there's two types of Catnip

EO .. American and Canadian. The American Catnip has between 40%-50%

Nepetalactone .. the active ingredient. Canadian Catnip has far more ..

between 80%-90%.

Which is better? This boils down to Bang for the Buck .. or Rubble for

the Ruble. Since the Canadian is not twice as costly as the American

but you can use half as much, that is the answer. With the American, we

need a 9%-10% dilution for effectiveness .. but the Canadian can be used

at 5% and its very effective.

Accordingly, I am no longer offering the American Catnip Wholesale. I

have a bit still in Retail size bottles but when that's gone, I'll only

offer the Canadian. People want the Canadian as it takes less to do the

job so its more cost efficient.

How do we use it? Well .. some folks put it on their skin. To date, we

have no reports of problems. Like many EO, scientific dermal testing

has not been conducted .. but empirical evidence to date shows not one

problem.

Keep in mind that there are two theories as to why a mosquito repellent

repells. One is that they don't like the odor .. the other is that it

merely masks our odor so they don't hone in on us. Many people choose

to wear it on their clothing rather than their skin. And many choose to

use Fractionated Coconut as a carrier as it will not stain. Any carrier

will work .. but it should be diluted .. no need to use more when a tad

will do the job.

This Catnip oil has been worn by one young fellow .. Greg Linsson .. on

a safari to the Amazon. His sister gave a testimonal for it on one of

the AT lists. Greg was NOT bothered by skeeters.

Though it (and many other things) are not on my site yet .. Retail cost

for the two different Catnips are:

10 ml .. American ..... 40-50% Nepetalactone ... $ 6.49

20 ml .. American ..... 40-50% Nepetalactone ... $11.39

10 ml .. Canadian ..... 80-90% Nepetalactone ... $ 8.88

20 ml .. Canadian ..... 80-90% Nepetalactone ... $15.54

Those of you who are resellers can enter my wholesale essential oil site

if you write me and ask for the magic words. Can't offer wholesale to

end-users cause my wholesale buyers would string me up .. and they'd be

right to do so. ;-p

The next post will be scientific support for what I've written here.

Regards .. and y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
