Guest guest
I agree, I don't know anything special about Emu, and would be careful about Tea Tree (i.e. it ages quickly, etc.) What about dilute melissa for cold sores? Guest guest
Ah, Dennis, you going to make me work aren't you. Well, here goes: From Martin Watt's Plant Aromatics: " … Fresh Tea Tree Oil was revealed to be a very weak sensitizing material whereas oxidized T.T.O. (Tea Tree Oil) was 3 times stronger. Tea tree oil kept in open and closed bottles or other containers undergoes photooxidation within a few days to several months, leading to the creation of degradation products that are moderate to strong sensitisers. Peroxides, epoxides and endoperoxides are formed. " I get really low terpene Tea Tree Oil, but still I like to keep the stuff I use topical stuff in the fridge.
