List Assistants/MailWasher question

Chris and Butch,

 

I will try to answer the question about the MailWasher question. I think it

will work on any e-mail addy. The way it is used, all the new posts come thru

MailWasher, so I see no reason why the assistant could not check the new posts

thru MailWasher. If they want to preview the post before downloading it,

highlight the post, right click, click on preview message (I think that is what

it says), and you can decide if you want that post or delete it.

 

1. Double click on the MailWasher icon on desktop.

2. Allow posts to download.

3. Edit the posts that you do not want by clicking delete or bounce.

4. Click process mail tab.

 

Even though I am on cable modem and online 24/7; I have to click on either the

mailWasher or OE icons to download new e-mail. If I understand the question

correctly, You are asking if the new posts would just download themselves into

the e-mail program. With MailWasher, no. With OE, (or any direct e-mail

program), yes....if you have the e-mail program open all the time.

computer 'geek' here and responsible for 4 systems here at home including my

Hubby's laptop. Much of what I suggest has been learned by trial and error.

List Assistants (Got Two

 

 

Yo Chris,

 

 

IS IT POSSIBLE .. smart ones .. to have a Mail Washer type of system on

a list? Means .. assistants can come on line 2-3 times day and all the

mail will be waiting for approval. Otherwise it comes in as it wants to

come in - right?

I keep my e-mail program open all the time, but it's not set to

automatically download messages. I go to MailWasher first, wash my mail,

and then go to the e-mail program and download the mail. It won't download

to the e-mail program unless I click on " get mail " .
