Guest guest
Hey Bobbye, > After 6,792 miles from East Coast to West Coast, we finally arrived > back in Atlanta after 2 months on the road. Good show .. welcome back. I'm gonna do around 5,500 on the trip I start on Wednesday .. sweeping east to D.C. then south to Fayetteville, NC then to Wilmington, NC .. then down the coast to Charleston, SC. Then up and over to Hotlanta, Jawja .. then across to Houston and eventually Tucson. Gonna sweep back through SW New Mexico and then up to NW Arkansas .. then over to Nashville then up to Kentucky and such afore a head back to the humid hills of the Allegheny Range of the Appalachians and the big town of Dogpatch .. I mean Friendsville, Maryland. Folks here say that though Friendsville is in the finger betwixt West ByGawd Virginnie and Pennsylvania the reason its in Maryland is cause it was too Suthran to be in Pennsylvania and too Redneck to be in West ByGawd Virginnie. > I have spent the last hours trying to catch up on posts. Loads of fun .. huh? ;-p > Butch, when are you going to be in Georgia. I know you have a son > not far from Atlanta. I hope I will get to meet you in person. Gonna be in the Conyers area .. out on I-20 east of Hotlanta. It would be nice for sure. I think I will be in that area around the weekend of 13 September or so. I gotta visit folks in those towns I mentioned above and I will start out for Houston and Tucson around Monday the 15th. You are about as far West of Hotlanta as I will be East of there .. Mayretta (that's whut folks in Jawja call Marietta) is on up I-20 and the beltway. I have your phone number. > I tried to find soap and/or aromatherapy storefronts to visit close > to Interstate Highway 40 and back on I-70. I did not have much luck > other than my one big visit with Marge at Nature's Gift in Madison, > TN. I had that on my list so we came back through Nashville so I > could visit her store. If you have never met Marge and Debbie in > person, they are absolutely delightful, loving individuals. So, it > was really a treat to be able to visit her store. Glad you got a chance to visit them. Haven't been to Madison in a few years but used to go there often as I had relatives there. I spent the first years of my life in Nashville. > If we make the trip again this fall/winter, I will go I-20 and I-10 > and I think there are more storefronts on this route. Mebbe .. I've made that trip a buncha times and I have customers in towns along that route. I'll stay on I-10 pretty much from Mobile, Alleybammer to Tucson, Aridzoner and will keep my eyes open along the way. > Warmly, > Bobbye And to you .. and y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
