Guest guest
.... what do you use to cap the emds with and keep the soap from oozing out all over? I have a few plastic downspouts and I'd love to use them for smaller batches, but no matter what I have capped the ends with it still oozes ... and I just love those scalloped edges. *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com

I think if you pour a little parrafin OR soap in a container just a little bigger than the OD of the item you can press it down in the stuff and make a good seal. Guest guest
Chris, Try melting Wax or MP soap.Pour in the bottom of a plastic 5 gallon bucket. Set Pipes or tubes in there. Then after all is set up, pour in soap. HTH, Jan S www.sweetprairiesoap.com jans e-mail for paypal

Guest guest
Eveyln, Wiggle it. You only want an inch or so in the bottom of the bucket. More would be like concrete. The weight of the soap in the tube will act as a lever. For PVC pipe there are rubber boots with alligator clamps. I love mine. Screw them down and they are sealed!
