Guest guest
Hi Sandra, I have been reading your posts about not feeling well and hives and the stress of your family being ill. my daughter has allergies, and years ago they put her on albuterol, she is a beautiful, smart girl, but strong willed and pig headed & on those meds she was unbearable, we sucessfully got her off them for 4 years, and other than the occasional sniffles shes been fine however over the summer she had a cough, and tight chest, as it turns out she is being threatened by a neighborhood girl with a knife and would not leave the house, we sent her to horse camp- (allergy haven)for a month and not one sniffle or pill or medicine- she came back and her symptoms started again, add to that puberty, starting High school and the poor kid is having major anxiety, she is now to my dismay back on the albuterol, I didn't give up but I couldn't control it and neither could she, I would give her some chamomile tea, valerian, spray her room with lavender , talk and she would be fine until she started thinking again and her mind just took over her body, we are all working on it and I do hope to have her off the nasty crap soon but now she needs it, she hates it -it makes her jittery , unfocused and argumentative, I would love to say I can make a tincture or a inhalation and naturally make her better, but I tried everything and until she is breathing normally I can't do anything, then we can prevent it. I do have a point here and I truly believe that my daughter unintentionally allowed her fears to cause so much stress that her body just cannot fend for itself, stress and the mind are so powerful they can override any treatment. I am the first to say Dr.s ugggggh - ( no offense to Drs.) but sometimes its OK to take medication, believe me I would love to throw the meds out the window, and go natural but we are beyond that. let your body recupperate, take a day off - walk go shopping or lunch with a friend and feed your soul, I know it is hard to put them aside when they need you the most, but your no good to them sick, I do hope that I have not offended anyone here your posts just seem like you are trying so hard to fix your symptoms so you can help your family, I do understand that- REALLY - but even if you do go naturally take sometime for YOU! Guest guest
You are right Gea, sometimes it takes drugs to heal a body. It is *complementary* medicine, where all works together to heal. When I had surgery, I sure wasn't awake! A level-headed blending of the two is the best for my family and my self. Sandra, echinacea is only good when one is beginning to get sick, the very first signs, if one takes it when one is fully sick, it will make one sicker and take longer to get better. Ech is a preventative. I sell a blend I used to smoke often when I had asthma. The Lord healed me Feb this year. I smoke it every once in a while when my allergies are too much for me, but that's not often. It's yerba santa, mullein and sometimes a mint thrown in. I have a customer in college, 18 yrs old who said he didn't have to take his 'ritualistic albuterol inhaler first thing in the morning when he woke up' after smoking this the previous day when he received it! That's pretty awesome! Warm regards, Janine Phariss www.BlueSageNaturals.com Healthy Skin ~ Happy Bodies! The only limitation of potential is your own perception of your potential.
