I expect some by the end of November. Had an impossible time on that

this year. Couldn't export it in barrels like before due to rules in

the EU that allow countries to import products, repackage them and call

it Origin their country. The Turks got upset because Italy was selling

Turkish Extra Virgin as Origin Italy. Now all the Turkish Olive Oil

must leave here packaged and labeled from the producer. That is likely

to change in the future due to actions laid out in the next paragraph.

 

Changes have come from righteous protests (some by Italians themselves

as the legitimate producers were upset) in that now we can see on the

labels of Olive Oil sold in the USA .. like Bertoli .. words like ..

" Contains Olive Oils from Turkey, Greece, Spain and Italy, " and such.
